MEAT AND FISH. Meat provokes a sharp release of insulin into the blood, which contributes to a surge of dopamine in the brain. Dopamine is a substance that activates the pleasure center in the brain. Therefore, despite all the scientific evidence about the dangers of excessive consumption of meat food, it is so difficult for people to give it up. And therefore, on the forums “for and against vegetarianism” there will always be meat eaters who go out of their way to justify their addiction to this drug product and refute information about its harm. In addition, 20-70% of the calories in meat are from pure fats, not protein, so the opinion that a person engaged in hard physical labor cannot do without meat is nothing more than a myth.
Giving up the constant consumption of meat gives you:
- prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases
- natural weight loss
- prevention of Alzheimer’s disease
- prevention of cancer and osteoporosis
DAIRY PRODUCTS. Any milk (including human milk) contains a small amount of morphine, as well as casein, which breaks down into opiates – casomorphins. Cheese is particularly dangerous to health, since in addition to a high concentration of morphines, it contains an excessive amount of fat and salt. Getting used to cheese will inevitably lead to obesity and serious health problems.
Giving up dairy products-drugs gives:
- loss of excess weight and reduction of cholesterol in the blood
- getting rid of arthritis and headaches
- prevention of prostate cancer
- reducing the risk of hypertension and kidney disease
CHOCOLATE. Cocoa can also be included here. According to experts, chocolate contains the substance andanamide, which is addictive. Andanamide encourages the human brain to more actively produce serotonin– the hormone of happiness. Therefore, with each piece of chocolate, the level of serotonin in the body increases, and with it, pleasure. And just like with drug use, a lack of serotonin in an attempt to end chocolate addiction can lead to depression and “withdrawal.” Chocolate contains caffeine (in small doses), as well as theobromine, similar in chemical structure and effect, which is an “invigorating” substance. In addition, phenylethylamine, an amphetamine–like substance, is present in chocolate, as well as in very small amounts – relatives of the active narcotic components of marijuana. Thus, chocolate is a product of weakly acting drugs, which together cause persistent addiction to the “food of the gods”.
SUGAR. All foods containing sugar cause a sharp spike in blood sugar. Sugar causes the brain to release natural opiates. However, blood sugar levels drop as rapidly as they rise, and a person feels an acute attack of hunger. Now there is a very common stereotype that carbohydrates are the main reason for gaining excess weight. As a result, carbohydrate-free diets, without vegetables and fruits, have become very popular. A carb-free diet is dangerous and will soon result in serious problems with the digestive system. The carbohydrates that you get from vegetables and fruits will never lead to obesity. They are simply indispensable for cell nutrition and maintaining the viability of the human body. Of all carbohydrates, the only harmful ones are granulated sugar and excess starch, so it is necessary to control the consumption of products containing them.
SALT. A joint study by Australian and American scientists concluded that salt causes the same dependence as hard drugs and cigarettes. This is why it is difficult for people to reduce their salt intake, despite warnings about its effects on blood pressure and heart health. Salt cravings are caused by the same genes as drugs. The thirst for salt is akin to the thirst for opiates, but it is based, according to scientists, on an ancient instinct. When an animal is exhausted and its body requires water and salt, its fear of predators decreases, thanks to brain signals, and it becomes more courageous. However, for people, this means that salt addiction exists and many more people need to be treated for it than drug addicts.
CONFECTIONERY PRODUCTS. They are beautiful, sweet and appetizing to the point that it is impossible to resist. And why is that? Because confectionery products contain fats, and the combination of sugar + fat has the strongest narcotic effect among all products. But for some reason, a cake for a holiday is considered a holy cause, and sweets are the best gift. You walk down the street and every 300 meters there is another Sweet shop.
BOILED AND FRIED FOOD. In fact, if cooked food wasn’t addictive, people could easily skip it from time to time and eat raw food for a day or two. However, as a rule, this does not happen to anyone, except in cases when a person gets lost in the forest or something equally extraordinary happens to him. Like a smoker who cannot live a day without a cigarette, people who are used to boiled food feel a daily need for it. Therefore, it is not surprising that most people believe that cooked food is vital for health.
BAKERY PRODUCTS. Any pastry containing yeast is deadly to health. Yeast contains formaldehydes, washing powders, cleaning products, heavy metals and other terrible chemicals. It is a weapon of genocide, once created in Nazi Germany. Yeast bread kills all the natural intestinal microflora and colonizes pathogenic fungi. Refined white flour of the highest grade is currently among the top most harmful food products. It is not only devoid of any useful substances and vitamins, but also treated with preservatives, dyes, antibiotics and anti-caking substances. Any muffin leads to serious problems with the heart, stomach, liver and kidneys. It provokes obesity, diabetes, premature aging and death.
TRANS FATS. Margarine, mayonnaise, soft oils, whipped cream, spreads, refined and deodorized vegetable oils. These products in their composition largely contain transgenic fats that cause cancer, allergies, atherosclerosis, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, destroy the liver and gastrointestinal tract, increase the amount of cholesterol in the blood, destroy the heart, spoil vision, disrupt cellular metabolism, cause strokes, heart attacks and even depression. But first of all, they cause the strongest addiction. Any vegetable oil that has been purified becomes not only empty in terms of useful substances, it is prepared with the help of oil and a variety of additives that are poisonous to the human body.

POTATOES. Some foods affect the brain in the same way as a number of chemical narcotic substances, thereby causing addiction. These foods included foods with a high glycemic index, such as white bread, beer, as well as bananas, grapes and potatoes. They turned out to provoke the same reactions in the brain as drugs and cigarettes. Eating foods with a high degree of carbohydrate processing provokes hunger and activates areas of the brain responsible for encouragement and addiction. Do not forget that boiled potatoes are fed to pigs on pig farms.
FAST FOOD. Artificial substances that are addictive are added to all fast food. In addition, salt, fat and spices, of which it is full, stimulate hunger. Monosodium glutamate (E621), which is added to all fast food, chips, crackers, sausages, seasonings, semi-finished products, etc., leads to brain destruction, Alzheimer’s disease, glaucoma, causes “Chinese restaurant” syndrome. Amaranth (E123) is a red food coloring that absolutely leads to cancer.
SWEET CARBONATED DRINKS. Slightly more than 70% of sweet sodas contain caffeine. In addition, manufacturers use aspartame instead of sugar for sweetening, which breaks down into 2 harmless amino acids and dangerous methanol in the body. The latter leads to nervous excitement and a short–term surge of energy, affects the areas of the brain responsible for pleasure, and therefore addiction. The use of aspartame leads to obesity, diabetes mellitus, sclerosis, vision loss, lupus erythematosus, headaches, numbness of the limbs, etc. It is masked on labels under the marker E951.
DRIED FRUITS. Dried fruits are also addictive, so most people tend to overeat them. And this entails a lot of troubles: meteorism, indigestion, frequent urination, discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract, cravings for harmful products and restless sleep. In addition, dried fruits stick to the teeth and provoke caries. Many people ruined their teeth with raisins, dates, and figs.
NUTS AND SEEDS. Fatty foods are addictive. With excessive consumption of fat-rich foods, chemical changes occur in the human body, as a result of which the previous portions of food begin to be lacking. Studies have shown that excessive consumption of fatty foods triggers pleasure processes in the brain center, leading to addiction and the appearance of “food mania”. That is, drug addiction and dietary fat abuse are based on the same mechanisms.
Coffee fans are also compared to drug addicts. Our nerve cells transmit signals to each other through chemical molecules. This work is regulated by enzymes that signal the synthesis or cleavage of these molecules. Caffeine also has the property of leveling the effect of destructive enzymes, prolonging the activity of chemicals, in particular, prolonging the feeling of pleasure. Which in the end is addictive. According to research results, 50% of people who drink up to three cups of coffee a day can no longer painlessly give up the drink, as they experience lethargy, irritability and high fatigue. And 10% require special help, since giving up coffee causes anxiety, depression and even periodic vomiting.
ALCOHOL. An energetically capacious product and at the same time a psychoactive substance (a legal drug). It is found in microscopic concentrations in some foods and is produced by the human body. All fermented dairy products can be safely attributed to alcohol. Many people believe that alcohol helps relieve stress. However, this is not the case. After relaxation and a temporary improvement in mood, alcohol intoxication causes a new biochemical stress in the body. High doses of alcohol and its processed product, acetic aldehyde, inhibit the work of the brain and heart, cause oxygen starvation in them, which manifests itself in the form of weakness, fatigue and depressed mood, and in severe cases leads to heart failure. Dangerous poisoning with ethyl alcohol can lead to paralysis of the respiratory center of the brain and cause respiratory arrest.
Mental dependence is formed at the brain level and is associated with neurotransmitter metabolism, in particular, dopamine. Under the influence of alcohol, brain cells get used to a specific state of intoxication, which is adequate for narcotic. To get a comfortable state, a person increasingly needs alcohol doping and an increase in the amount of alcohol consumed. As a result, the loss of dose control becomes a serious symptom of the development of alcohol disease. When intoxicated, control over the situation disappears, behavior changes, and in the morning memory lapses appear for some events.
Physical dependence on alcohol is associated with metabolic disorders, in particular, with a deficiency of endogenous (internal) alcohol and increased activity of alcoholic enzymes of the body, and manifests itself in the form of withdrawal (hangover) syndrome and the formation of binge states.
